What is Glamping?
Glamping is a unique, fun way to enjoy a nature vacation. Glamping combines the best of traditional camping … hikes in the woods, S’mores by the campfire … with abundant creature comforts that make the outdoors so much friendlier.
Gone are tents and sleeping bags on the ground, replaced by air conditioned and heated yurts and campers, each with cozy beds and plump pillows. The camp stove has given way to a fully equipped kitchen with range, refrigerator and microwave. And no more washing in cold water: hot showers are available anytime in the clubhouse and – seasonally – under the stars from an outdoor shower! Amenities like a hot tub and wireless connectivity throughout the property let you unwind and share your adventure getaway in real-time!

The Grimes Glampground is a Magical Place!
The treasure map graphic shows how the Grimes Glampground is arranged. You and your party will have a great time exploring the marked features on the map, and also exploring the rest of the compound!
There is a lot more than meets the eye. In the summertime, guests enjoy panning for gold in the Grimes creek (located further back on the map). They also enjoy hiking and wading and appreciating mother nature’s abundant beauty.
In the wintertime, when snow covers the land and the ponds and creek are covered in ice, our guests enjoy snowshoeing and searching for animal tracks – something much easier to find in snow! We recently had a moose sighting … we’re not sure if he was interested in glamping?
