Off-Road Routes to the Campsite

You can find countless Jeep, ATV, and motorcycle trails that connect to Grimes Pass.  For best results, use On-X Offroad app or your favorite off-road navigation tool to find adventures from mild to wild.  Our favorite “adventure on the way” option is Forest Service Road 311/Wildcat Gulch Rd. to Warm Springs Point.  On-X labels this route as 4/10 difficulty.  NOTE a high clearance 4×4 vehicle required.

You’ll take ID 21 North –> L at Grimes Pass Rd — Immediately R onto FS 311/ Wilcat Gulch –> At the end of the trail, make a L onto Centerville Rd –> Make a R onto Grimes Pass Rd –> 169 Grimes Pass Rd. on R.
